Hi, I’m Michael, Managing Director at OnPack — welcome to our purpose-built can printing facility in Gannawarra.
In just over two and a half years, we’ve scaled from one machine to two, manufacturing aluminium and plastic cans right here in Australia. Today, we’re producing up to 220,000 cans per day, across 10–30 unique designs, with speed, precision, and zero compromise on quality.
🔧 What we print • Slim cans: 200ml – 300ml • Sleek cans: 250ml – 355ml • Plastic cans: 250ml – 500ml • Classic formats including 500ml craft beer cans
⚙️ How it works
Every can arrives pre-formed, is automatically depalletised, phased, and conveyed directly into our machines — no human hands touch the cans at any point.
From print to pallet, the process is fully automated, clean, and efficient.
📈 Our capability • 180 cans per minute (with capacity to go higher) • Average output of 150,000 cans daily • Precision stacking and palletising, ready for fillers • Fast turnarounds, even on high-volume, multi-design runs
🍺 Currently running
500ml cans for Holgate Brewery, printing at 92 cans per minute, stacked perfectly and delivered filler-ready.
