A few years ago, I wanted my life to be perfectly figured out. As a detailed person, I wanted no stone unturned, wanting to know what would happen and when. I came to God confused, lost, and broken. From a young age, I had pictured my life unfolding in a specific way, but nothing seemed to work according to that plan.
Then, God revealed Himself to me as an architect. Recognizing God as the architect of the universe provided a foundation for my faith and trust in His divine plan and purpose for my life. Just as an architect designs a building with a specific vision, God has intricately crafted each individual with love and purpose, guiding us through life's journey.
Psalm 139:16 (KJV) says, "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned when as yet there was none of them." This verse illustrates God's intimate involvement in our creation and the detailed blueprint He has for each of us.
God opened my understanding of these Scriptures and my life changed.
