The identity is built around a bespoke blackletter logotype. It acts as a distinctive symbol of an iconic space reclaimed for the Peckham community, reflecting the venue’s energy, character and strong sense of place, while giving it a clear and recognisable visual identity.

Once home to the much-loved Peckham Palais, the building sat empty for more than a decade before being brought back to life. Its reopening marks a new chapter for the space, shaped by a renewed focus on music, community and cultural relevance.

Palais is a new night-time venue in Peckham, set within the former Jones & Higgins department store on Rye Lane. Reopening a long-closed landmark, it returns as a space for music, culture and community in South London, rooted in Peckham and open to the world.
At a time when independent nightlife is under increasing pressure, with closures reshaping the city’s cultural landscape, Palais represents a passion project for Night Group, the team behind Night Tales, NT’s Loft and Netil360, with a focus on sound, programming and community.

For decades, Cambridge Audio have been trusted by audiophiles, renowned for brilliant sound, obsessive engineering and quality that lasts. But while the products kept getting better, the brand hadn’t evolved at the same pace. Our role was to open it up: to help Cambridge connect with new audiences, break out of the hi-fi bubble and build long-term relevance.

Music runs through everything at Cambridge, across roles, disciplines and continents. ‘Made by Music’ became the central brand idea: a way to bring that shared passion to the surface and give the brand a more emotional, authentic voice. In a sector often defined by specs and sterility, it helped Cambridge stand apart — rooted in who they’ve always been and in the music that continues to inspire them.

Philosophy starts with a question. “Question Everything” captures that instinct — to be curious, to challenge, to think more deeply. It speaks to life’s biggest questions — and the smallest everyday ones. Designed to provoke and invite, it challenges assumptions about who philosophy is for and what the Institute stands for. By resetting expectations, it positions the Royal Institute of Philosophy as an open, questioning, and contemporary force — one that exists to engage new audiences in meaningful, thought-provoking ways.

The Royal Institute of Philosophy is the UK’s largest independent charitable foundation dedicated entirely to the advancement of philosophical thought. With a proud history and an ambitious vision, it plays a vital role in promoting rigorous, inclusive, and accessible discussion about life’s biggest questions. Our task was to help the Institute reach further — to raise its profile, celebrate its work, and open up philosophy to new audiences.
