I told my mother that “I will not go” I was so sure that I will not I have always known that “Sokoto,Anambra (and the likes) is not the plan of God for my life” I always wonder why people go there when you can just stay where you are

Even a painful heartbreak didn’t make it to that level of tears
It was a really tough day and everyone kept calling me to console me and beg me to go
“We will do redeployment” I kept asking “what if it doesn’t work, do you have an idea what this even means???” It was a whole lot that day “ok I will go”after some more calls and texts “omo I will never go” I didn’t know I was going until a day before camp
Anyway,I already settled to go but I was still scared
I had deadlines to meet,it was a really really stressful week
I emptied my bank accounts to buy my essentials
In my head “I already decided to go,the next thing is to make it worthwhile and enjoyable for myself” at this point I was already really excited to leave this Ibadan
I’ve beeen overworking for months and I saw this as a break (as I cannot spoil myself to a Zanzibar trip yet😭😂)

We spent up to 15 to 16 hours to get to Abia , I had high hopes for the bus I thought it will be air conditioned and have charging ports “my opponent you have been deceived” 🤡Won tun add extra passenger to my seat 😭,Overall the other people in the bus were funnnnnnn, we prayed and I recited the only Quran verse that I knew and after a while I started my skincare and lip combo ( I left the house so early I couldn’t apply them) The guy beside me was asking if I’d have time to do all these at camp i told him I will,lol and I did
We got to camp like 11:30 at night sha.I slept on the bare groundddd overnight 😭😭😭Registration started as early as 4am in the morning . We did not have our bath…. (Check Comment) #nysc #explore #vlog
