It truly took a village to get me here—and I don’t take that lightly.
In the times where I was overwhelmed, stretched thin, and trying to hold everything together at once, I had you. Moments where the pressure felt heavier than the progress. And in those moments, it was my village that carried me, through your words, your presence, your prayers, your patience, and your belief in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself. You’ve taught me love, grace, forgiveness, and most importantly, the light of the Lord.
Every check-in, every “you got this,” every time you gave me space to rest or pushed me to keep going, it all mattered more than I can even fully put into words. You all poured into me in ways that shaped not just this accomplishment, but who I’m becoming as a woman, a leader, and someone committed to purpose.
This degree represents discipline, resilience, and growth, but it also represents community. It represents love that showed up consistently. It represents people who saw the vision for me and never let me shrink away from it.
I’m walking into this next chapter not just accomplished, but supported, grounded, and deeply grateful. I carry each of you with me in everything I do moving forward. Rather on the earthly world or by my angels.
This wasn’t done alone. This was built, held, and lifted by a village.
And for that, I will always be thankful 🤍

On May 9th, 2026, I will graduate AGAIN from Indiana State University with my Master of Arts in Communication, this time as a version of me built from everything that tried to break me.
There were moments I wanted to quit. Moments I questioned if I belonged. Moments where the weight felt heavier than the purpose, but God never let me fold. Every setback, every delay, every tear, it all built me into who I am today.
I didn’t just earn a degree, I created a legacy. as a first-generation graduate, this moment is bigger than me, it’s for every version of me that kept going, even when it was hard and the ones who will now come after me.
I am a living testimony of God’s goodness, grace, and covering, and this is only the beginning. Everything was sent out to destroy me and DID NOT prosper. Satan couldn’t have what he didn’t design.
Thank you Indiana State University for the lessons, and the blessings. This chapter has officially closed..
