I am thrilled to share that I’ve send our last back rent payment! The donations above that bring a huge relief in helping us through summer. Summertime and holidays are always a super lean time for us as such a small studio and it’s a big relief to know that while no one is living a life of luxury yet (I’m not sure that happens for full time yoga teachers), I can pay rent and eat this summer. :)
This week feels like the turnaround that’s been so needed, in more than one way. I thought we’d get some support if I asked for help but I didnt expect for you to turn out the way you did.
Every donation means so much to me. As you know, we are a very small studio, something that most of you tell me you like a lot, but that means that every membership pause or streak of small classes affects us more. So for such a small studio to show up the way that you have and make such a big impact, reaffirms that this is where im supposed to be and this is what im supposed to be doing.
You have relieved so much stress for me, im not sure I can really communicate it. You have filled me up and im sure you’ll notice all of this in my teaching. It’s already started to really feel like fun again.

What I can say is I am thankful for you. You are what makes onlYoga so special. There is no community without you. Your dedication to showing up, not just for yourself or for the pose, but to add your focus, your energy to the little collective community that we make up during class. And that’s why we come to class. We could practice at home, by ourselves, but being a part of that collective energy is what feels so good. And I am so proud of my students, not just for the progress with physical poses—which I am. Not just for the kindness and support for each other—which I am. But for the way they come in with open hearts and minds and offer their focus and energy to help create a space for everyone that feels so connected and full of heart.
