It‘s a celebration of mechanical beauty and the art of the machine. From nine days in the shop in winter to a completely bespoke soundtrack it is a true sequel in the series and I hope you have 9:44min to give it a watch.

South Africa. Just came back from two weeks on the southern tip of Africa for a @frontrunnerza project. Will make a youtube episode about it when it releases but until then I sum it up a little:
1 - Defender 130 on a random hill in Lesotho. Challenging car to shoot.
2 - A hammock made of a local blanket on top of a car in front of the highest single point waterfall in Africa.
3 - Finally meeting @jethrobronner and getting to drive Porco!
4 - I had @schamong_official absolutely everywhere. A must.
5 - Made this local a cup. He wasn’t impressed (due to no sugar only I hope).
6 - One place had a rescued deer in the garden. Casual…!
7 - Exploded a tire at 120kph in the Karoo (middle of nothing).
8 - Snow and roads in Lesotho. Unbelievable place.
9 - Hiked table mountain for sunrise and took the first cable car down.
10 - Lesotho. I didn’t know where it was, now it’s a forever memory.

a bit of Porsche restoration p*rn.
Not really a surprise, I am building myself a new Porsche 924S. Slicktop, alpine white. It will get the 3.0 16V I just recently finished, but aside from that I am putting almost a decade of thoughts into it. For the first version I am going with a street spec Bilstein B6 x M030 setup and fully polybush suspension. Aluminium front arms to complement the 44S2 sway bars - and a rebuilt limited slip diff to match the engine. Spent the last months building the axles, painting the underbody and engine bay and just started to assemble the thing.
More interestingly though, I have a second set of wheelarches and all the brake and fuel lines are re-routed to clean the underbody. I guess we all know why - Mudflaps will be needed!

It‘s done!
After nine days of filming and assembly in near freezing temperatures over the last month the 3.0 16V is built. Safe to say I never put so much thought into each and every frame. Oftentimes I would repeat certain steps twice or more just to get them to feel right while still making sure this becomes a fully functional engine at the end of it. It was cold, sometimes miserable, but they don‘t build themselves.
Post production has already begun, more to come near release!
