I've been having such a fun time working alongside @onebedoublelo7 to further his ideas into a visual/physical experience. Alhamdulillah 🤲🏾 It's truly been an honor to work on the recent Binary Star releases - MOTU vinyl, tapes, posters, cards, etc AND "The LOOMA." I love doing the graphic side of things, but I also am just very grateful to be working on projects that have helped me develop my skill set, but also align with my beliefs and passions.
The lyrics within One Be Lo's discography are timeless and resonate deeply with many aspects of life. To see them be connected and turned into characters, stories, and games - makes it that much more special and unique. That's one reason why I love The LOOMA. In general, I've always nerded out over fantasy/adventure/whimsical stories, but The LOOMA is on a whole 'nother level.

This is the only verse I wrote while I was incarcerated. This long story. After her heard it, He said, "I got a beat for that." A couple days later he played me the loop you hear, no drums, then we went to DL spot and chopped it up and sequenced it. I didnt wanna rap over the same loop for the entire song, so we added a sequence that was a little more dramatic when the story turned static.
