What a night. ❤️ Last night, 100 of our most generous donors gathered at the beautiful home of Penny Bianchi to welcome two extraordinary men to the one805 family — and to our community. Incoming Montecito Fire Chief Brian Fallon joins us from Lompoc, bringing with him years of distinguished service as a Fire Chief across Santa Barbara County. We are so proud to have him leading Montecito Fire. 💚 As we recognise Mental Wellness Month, we are grateful for Chief Brian Fallon, who oversees mental wellness initiatives for Santa Barbara County’s First Responders!! Incoming Chief Dan Stefano brings twenty years of experience as a Fire Chief from Southern California — working in terrain and conditions that mirror our own. And in a beautiful full-circle moment, he brings his wife, who was born right here in Montecito, home. This is where they belong. 🏡 Two outstanding leaders. One community. Our chiefs asked. We listened. The Fire and Sheriff chiefs on the One805 Advisory Board came to us and made it clear — mental wellness for our first responders had to be a priority. So we made it one. 💚🔥 In 2022, One805 began funding mental wellness programs and equipment for Santa Barbara County Fire. In 2025, we expanded to the Sheriff’s Department. Today, with our third grant of $56,000, we reaffirm that commitment — and go deeper. 2,900 therapy hours delivered. Mental wellness programs and equipment funded year after year. And now, at the direct request of our chiefs, we launched the One805 $10 Million Endowment Fund. When we reach our goal, this funding exists in perpetuity. Forever. Every first responder and their family in Santa Barbara County — covered. Permanently. No more lost grants. No more gaps. $2.5 million raised.
