The question is this: ⬇️ ⬇️ „If we redesigned your brand tomorrow, exactly as it is now but prettier — would that actually change your results?“ And then you just… wait. Because most clients will go quiet. And in that silence they’re realising that the problem isn’t actually the logo. It’s not the colours or the fonts or the fact that their brand „just needs a refresh.“ It’s something deeper like their positioning, their differentiation, their messaging, their audience clarity. They need strategy first. A brand refresh might make things look better for a while. But it won’t fix what’s actually broken. That’s your opening. That’s when the strategy conversation starts naturally, without you having to awkwardly pitch it or justify why they need it.

Here are some diagnostic questions to try on your next discovery call: ❓ « Who is your ideal client and how are you currently reaching them? » If they describe everyone… that’s a positioning problem. ❓ « If a potential client landed on your website right now, would they immediately understand what you do, who you do it for, and why you’re the right choice? » If they hesitate… that’s a messaging problem. ❓« What makes someone choose you over your competitors? » If they say « we really care » or « we have great experience »… that’s a differentiation problem.
