Dear Dad,
Happy Birthday. I am so incredibly lucky that God blessed me with you as my father. You have been the most selfless person that I have ever met and continuously take care of everyone else betore you even think about your own needs. You’ve always been there for me and Nick and have always showed us what hard work looks like and how to lead. So many of the things that I have accomplished and been recognized for was all due to you, pushing me and being there to encourage me through hard times.
I am so proud of you as a person and proud that you are my father. I always love when I get to mention how cool I think you are. You’re not just a fast racecar driver, a good mountain bike rider, or a car collector, but you are truly a man after God’s own heart and have shown so much faith and demonstrated what it looks like to fully trust God. You have been the best example of a father and if I can be half the man you are to my own son then I have greatly succeeded.
My greatest goal is to one day repay all that you have done for me and to show how much I appreciate the man you’ve continued to be in my life. Whether it was driving my car from Texas to Georgia so that I could have it for school or buying last-minute tickets to Pittsburgh for our first guys trip you have always been willing to be there for your boys and made sure they know how much you love them.
There is not enough I can say to truly illustrate how much you mean to me, but just know that I am eternally grateful for you and you’ve made me realize how much God loves me considering he loves me more than my earthly father.
There are countless times I talk about you to my friends and they marvel at how selfless you are and how you take care of your family. You truly are one of a kind and you’re the best man that I’ve ever known.
