CHIAROSCURO -LOOK I
Chiaroscuro, Italian for light and dark, is a visual language where light does more than illuminate, it sculpts. Shadows conceal, light reveals. Contrast becomes emotion, darkness becomes space, and light guides the eye. That idea became the starting point for this editorial.
From that foundation, we developed the looks and styling together with the wonderful Lardina
@styledbylamu . With an exceptional sense for shape, texture and presence, she curated every set, created each combination, sourced the pieces, arranged the orders and handled the full styling process. Her work was executed at an incredibly high professional standard. Talented, precise, and someone whose calm professionalism elevates every creative production.

She understood the mood, the energy and the vision immediately, translating every idea into presence, movement and expression. She truly brought my concept to life in a way that exceeded expectations.

@nicisdiaries is always a pleasure as well. We have collaborated many times before, and every shoot brings fresh energy. Earlier that day we had already completed several productions before creating this final larger block, yet the energy on set remained focused and strong from the first frame to the last.
Artistically, this first look speaks about posture and inner tension. The body leans into the light, suspended somewhere between resistance and surrender. The deep red feels like heat, danger and desire at once, while the silhouette nearly disappears into darkness. Only a few lines remain visible, enough to sense the form, never enough to reveal everything. That is where the image finds its strength.
