And finally we celebrated the life of a great man, our father Prof. R.I.S Agbede. We shared fond memories, laughed, danced and we set up a foundation in his honour. The Prof. R.I.S Agbede foundation was setup to assist people with Kidney disease and also to reward excellence in research for students of Parasitology (our father's passion) at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria as well as Yakubu Gowon University, Abuja. While our father may be gone, his legacy lives on in us. You remain forever in our hearts daddy.
We laid our dad to rest in a solemn ceremony. We sang a few songs, shed a few tears, heard a powerful word and eventually thanked God for the life our father lived. You're forever in our hearts daddy.
