Starting today, I am officially endorsed by Diffractor Soundings. A huge thanks to Raphaël, the founder, for his trust and recognition. From now on, I’ll be using effects pedals handcrafted by Raphaël in Wantamnam’s music.
從今天起，我將正式成為Diffractor Soundings 的官方藝人，非常感謝主理人Raphaël 的信任及賞識，往後我將在Wantamnam 我地希望的音樂中使用Raphaël 親手製造的效果器。
First of all, congratulations to Diffractor Soundings from France on the official launch of their second stereo effects pedal, the Chromatic Journey. I actually received this stereo phaser a few months ago and have been using it in my recordings and live performances since June.
首先恭喜來自法國的Diffractor Soundings 正式推出了他們第二台雙聲道效果器Chromatic Journey。其實我在幾個月前就已經收到了這台stereo phaser，並在6月起正式使用在我的錄音作品及現場演出中。
In the guitar sections of 𝘕𝘢𝘮 南, Chromatic Journey has been on in an always-on state. I love its wide tonal range and expansive spatial feel. I was never particularly fond of standard phasers before, but this one is different. If you carefully fine-tune each parameter and try pairing it with delay and reverb, you’ll discover unexpectedly beautiful and unique sound effects!
在《南 Nam》的吉他部分中，Chromatic Journey 就是一直always on 的狀態，我很喜歡她的音色可調性範圍及遼闊的空間感。我從前並不熱衷於一般的phaser，但這台很不一樣，如果你仔細微調每個參數嘗試在前後搭配delay 及reverb，將會有出奇好聽又獨特的音色效果！

Who is Fengyi?
逢一深受black music, indie folk, neo-psychedelia 及jazz 影響，創作及參與的樂團都不受風格限制定形。於2009年-2019年間於香港及台北分別成立過「The Ginkgo 白果」及「TheJUNK 帆人」、與「非人物種」主唱鄭光顯組成Acoustic Guitar Duo，短暫加入「巨蛋地獄狗／Heavy Egg Hell Dog」 及「透明雜誌」主唱洪申豪個人大樂隊「洪申豪 & HBOrchestra」，並活躍於香港、台灣各大小音樂場所。
2019年起於台港同時展開個人音樂創作「Fengyi 逢一」，2022年組建了「Wantamnam 我地希望」，首張EP《木馬 Mukma》於2024年3月推出，時而靜默、偶爾瘋狂的編曲極具張力，詩意的歌詞與配樂般的器樂環環相扣；樂隊同時在香港、台北、台中、台南展開《木馬》巡演，專場幾乎場場售罄，其現場演出的感染力及氛圍亦深受台港樂迷所讚揚。
Much influenced by black music, indie folk, neo-psychedelia and jazz, his creation and units formed are not bound by genres. In 2009-2019 in both Hong Kong and Taiwan, he formed “The Gingko”, “TheJUNK”, acoustic guitar duo with Cheng of “Inhuman”, temporarily joined “Heavy Egg Hell Dog” and “Hom Shenhao & HBOrchestra” and being active in various live performing venues.
He started his solo project in 2019; formed “Wantamnam” in 2022. In March 2024, the first EP – “Mukma” was published. The intertwined composition of quietness and maniac is full of dynamics and finely merges with poetic lyrics and score-like instruments. Wantamnam’s first tour “Mukma” in Hong Kong and Taiwan was always in high demand. The immersive and emotional live performances were greatly experienced and praised by audiences in both places.
