Bee in the Cage is the debut EP from Case Against Time: three versions of one track, built around a bee-like hum accidentally produced by a synthesizer that wouldn’t warm up or tune properly. Instead of fixing it, more recordings were made.
Under the haze, a processed voice keeps repeating the same line—“we’re saving the wrong bees”—as if the track is haunted by a broken PSA. Slow, mellow, it balances between nostalgic and almost haunting.
