No matter your experience level, fitness background, or jiu-jitsu goals, you’ve got a home at Omnia. Are you a 6:00 AM “grind before work” person? We got you! Do you only have time mid-morning to train? We go you! Would you rather end the day being part of our high-energy evening classes? We got you! We’ve put a lot of thought into the variety of our programs to ensure every student has a clear path to growth: • Fundamentals: For those starting the journey and building a solid foundation. • Adult Gi & No-Gi: Mastering both the traditional and modern sides of the art. • Women’s JJ: A dedicated, empowering space for our women’s community led by Coach Ashley & Coach Lisa. • Open Mats: Friday and Saturday sessions where the doors are open to the entire community. Remember, you’ll always get two complimentary classes to ensure you love it here. We’ll be offering our opening rates through the end of this week, and then they’ll be going up! Last night was really special. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the We Defy fundraiser and seminar at OMNIA! The turnout and support from the Southern Arizona jiu jitsu community was incredible. We had people come together from all over Tucson, Marana, Sahuarita, and beyond for a night centered around community and giving back through jiu jitsu. A huge thank you to Will Dorman for sharing his knowledge and message with everyone in attendance. And thank you to every academy, student, coach, and supporter who showed up and helped make the event what it was. This is one of the things that makes jiu-jitsu so beautiful. We’re honored to officially host a 2026 Memorial Day Ruck and Roll at Omnia Jiu-Jitsu Academy in support of the We Defy Foundation. We Defy is an incredible nonprofit dedicated to empowering combat veterans coping with military-connected disabilities through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and long-term community support. Their mission is powerful, helping veterans rediscover purpose, connection, and strength through the life-changing impact of jiu-jitsu. We’re also proud to welcome special guest Will Dorman for a gi seminar as part of the event. Will is a 3rd-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, retired Navy Diver Senior Chief, a well respected BJJ Globetrotters instructor and longtime advocate for the veteran community through his work with We Defy. William has dedicated himself to helping others through jiu-jitsu, service, and leadership, and we’re excited to have him share that experience with our community. This event is open to the entire Tucson & Marana community and is about honoring service, building community, and supporting a mission that is changing lives. OMNIA Family, Please help us congratulate Coach Lisa on her amazing achievements this weekend! Aside from being an incredible coach, mother, teammate, and glowing presence at the academy, Lisa is also a pretty badass jiu jitsu competitor. Lisa consistently tests herself at the highest levels of competition through the IBJJF and is the current reigning Masters World Champion for her age, weight, and rank. As she prepares for this year’s World Championship, Lisa tested the waters this weekend at the IBJJF San Diego Open, where she won Gold in the Gi Open Class and Silver in her division in both Gi and No Gi. 🥇🥈🥈 To say we’re proud of Lisa is an understatement. We’re inspired… AND we’re incredibly grateful that she chooses to represent Omnia on the competition mats and for her leadership at the academy, especially within our Women’s program. April so far has been absolutely beautiful at Omnia. From watching our students grow in confidence, to welcoming new families onto the mats, to seeing this community continue to show up for each other every single day, we couldn’t be more grateful. Lucas Leite is a multiple-time IBJJF World No-Gi Champion, Pan American Champion, and one of the most respected competitors and coaches in jiu jitsu. He is best known for developing one of the most effective half guard systems in the world, the Coyote Guard, and has spent years competing and coaching at the highest level. This is a great opportunity to learn from someone with that level of experience, especially at this price point! Paragon members get in for $40, which is an amazing deal for a seminar like this. Team, Please help us in recognizing our very own Kenny Kempton. Kenny competed last weekend at ADCC Los Angeles and is the first person to represent Omnia on the big stage. Kenny is a multiple time Pans, National, and World Champion as well as a father, husband, and service member in our military. You can usually find this hulk coaching the tiny warriors, helping in Fundamentals, and training his butt off in our adult classes. Kenny is coming off of a long competition break due to injury and is making the climb back to the top. Although, he didn’t get the win this weekend, we’re very thankful he chooses to represent Omnia and extremely proud of his work ethic and warrior spirit. We have absolutely no doubt that he will continue to make waves on the world stage. For all of our future competitors, know that your team will always have your back in both victory & defeat and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for our Omnia Competitors.
