Link in bio French producer G.XIST arrives on OMEN Recordings with ‘Process,’ an EP that explores atmosphere, tension, and motion across three original compositions before transitioning into two reinterpretations. The title track, ‘Process,’ opens the EP with twitching rhythms and an off-kilter pulse, generating a nervous, mechanical energy that propels the track forward. ‘Vulcan’ follows, plunging into darker territory with dense percussion and industrial weight, while ‘Apricity’ closes the original set with a cinematic, atmospheric tone, unfolding through evolving textures and a gradual sense of ascent. The reinterpretations begin with OTTOMAN GRÜW, who transforms ‘Apricity’ in his Body Rework, turning the track’s ethereal qualities into a hypnotic, four-on-the-floor EBM-inspired composition crafted for movement. Closing the release, B.A.R.K, hailing from Tokyo’s darker fetish underground, reimagines ‘Vulcan’ with fractured noise, hypnotic rhythms, and a more malevolent atmosphere, distilling the track into the essence of his sound.
