We are pleased to invite you to PASSION, a solo exhibition by Tetsuzan Shinagawa, whose calligraphy continues to bring warmth and a welcoming spirit to our restaurant. This exhibition features works from the family collection, exquisitely framed by the late Yasuo Minagawa.
It is our greatest joy to share Tetsuzan’s calligraphy, and the underlying philosophy of Mikio Shinagawa, who founded New York Omen Azen and led it’s growth.

"Kyoto Yuba Asparagus Tempura Rolled with Wagyu Beef"
Yuba, a well-known specialty of Kyoto is used as an ingredient in this dish. Yuba is made from soy milk and is known for its delicate texture.
Wagyu beef and seasonal vegetables are wrapped in the yuba. Then we deep-fry for the crispy exterior texture.
The dish is served with a bed of kinome miso providing a refreshing aroma and a gentle sweetness.
