This night really stayed with me since playing almost a year back
When I first got the call, I had goosebumps. And walking in early for soundcheck… I don’t know, the whole space just felt different. Like something was already alive before we even started.
Moments like these are rare .

This time @breakfastclub.dhaka crossed borders and flew all the way to @hatch.works in Colombo. A tight crew of four flew in, while the rest of the team worked behind the scenes from home, making sure every detail stayed locked in.
This episode brought together @kudupattam@andrewandagroove and @sonura.sturdy the trio from famous @thisissickleave representing Sri Lanka, @manamusic.in carrying the Indian wave, and our own @omdg_bd flying the Bangladeshi flag.
That mix of artists from three countries on one dancefloor made “Machan” more than a name. It became a true example of friendship in motion.

A quick rewind to June, when The Mixmag Lab touched down in Dhaka for the very first time.
Kadin brought the heat with a hybrid blend of dancehall, hip hop, and electronic textures, all threaded with Bangladeshi roots. Munasib kept the momentum locked, snapping the dancefloor into a single moving body, while OMDG anchored the night in the city’s underground energy.
If these moments from Dhaka are anything to go by, 2026 is already lining up to take The Mixmag Lab in Asia even further.
