MELODY is a prayer song inspired by Ephesians 5.18 calling us to hunger for the infilling of the Holy Spirit in order to live by God’s standards, as opposed to reckless pursuit of excitement at all costs.
Drunkenness here describes having our senses consumed by carnality, giving room for tendencies and appetites that suppress the spirit from taking dominance and fully expressing Himself in and through us.
The spirit of God expresses Himself in different dimensions which include The spirit of wisdom, might, understanding, knowledge, counsel and the fear of the Lord, causing an ordinary man to live life supernaturally. This affection and intimacy with the spirit of God consumes an aligned vessel to bring melody to the Lord First through our lives as worship to HIM and in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.
