This weekend in Ybor City, I had a moment that stayed with me.
On my way to brunch, I saw a man sitting at a bus stopāhis presence, his style, his energyā¦ it all stood out. I walked up, introduced myself, and asked his name. He said, āKenny.ā
I told him, āIām gonna call you Ybor City Kenny.ā He smiled.
I asked if I could take his photo, and he said yes. When I showed him the picture, his whole face lit upāone of those real, genuine smiles you donāt forget.
We pass people every day without seeing them. But sometimes, all it takes is a moment of acknowledgment, a little respect, a simple connection.
