I LOOK OUT AT THE WORLD AND IT LOOKS BACK TO ME, STARING AT ME SIDEWAYS! new @worthitpurchase song out, and this one means a lot to me. i was pretty afraid to sing in front of anyone for most of my life and then i heard david berman say that all his favorite singers couldn’t sing… and i realized… i agreed! so i wrote this song and got over that. co-produced with @chloecorleyy and incredible visual poetry music video by @jakewolfert@jakoblongcob on youtube !!!
today i stand before you, grid posting in celebration of SOMETHING NEW! a song that my band @worthitpurchase put out earlier this month 🎸🎥💡💽🚪 here are some facts about the song: i made the instrumental of this song back in the day with a fever on my birthday, and shortly after wrote the lyrics with nicole. it’s part real, part fiction… a character study of sorts. the music video for the song is the first time we’ve ever made anything quite like this. i love it. in it’s own way, it’s inspired by twin peaks. it’s on youtube if you want to check it out. it was made on 16mm by geniuses. our 3rd, self-titled album will be out october 3rd. we are self-releasing cuz we’re cool like that. i hope that you like the song and if you do, share it with a friend. is being earnest online cool or wack? chime in below!!
