This play came to me at a time when I was fragile — right after graduation, between countries, between homes, between versions of myself. And through this process, I found grounding, safety, and meaning again.
Adapted from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, El Moristan was not just a play — it was an act of trust, care, and collective courage. I am endlessly grateful for the professionalism, generosity, and talent of every single person who brought this world to life.
