Lilith was the first woman and Adam’s first love according to folklore. His equal, she was made of dust, not from his rib like in the biblical texts. Instead of treating her as such, Adam tried to break her down. Choosing herself, she ran from the garden, where God sent a group of angels to retrieve her. She fought them off, and became the mother of the fallen. The name Lilith is mentioned in both Jewish and Babylonian ancient texts. In the Bible, lîlît is mentioned in Isaiah’s prophesy as a “night creature” or “desert creature” who inhabits the land after civil collapse. 🥀🪽 Song out soon on the Revival album :)
