They say a 📸 is worth 1000 words … Well we won’t bore you with that many details but we will say this : Andy + Shaun had their work cut out for them at this year’s Olympus Rally. Over 200 miles of stage rally, night stages, long stages, dust minutes, new components to test out, and 96 other teams to battle. Although it was not the finish they had hoped for, they learned a ton. The car didn’t burn to the ground. And they are pushing for a strong showing at OTR next week. 2026 Olympus Recap Post! Firstly, thanks to the hundreds of volunteers that make this all possible. No one would let us do this if it weren't for all the people behind the scenes making sure stages are clear, talking with neighbors to establish "Quiet Zones", let alone all the logistics in time controls, flagging, sweep, radio, medics, etc. Immense thanks. Peng at @fatgoooose sent us this one! Peng has been building out a really cool system to connect our racing community to media through @apexiel_official . Definitely worth check out, if you haven't already used their service. @mhonn is one of the best drivers in the Region. I'm lucky to call Michael a friend and sit beside him! I believe this was a @_melemedia shot. So much time spent in the Raptor. Great truck. It took us to Shelton on Tuesday afternoon the event and we left Monday morning. 6 days total. 3 days of racing. 2 days of recce. Easily over 1000 miles driven, not including the miles watched doing video review. I shook Jari-Matti Latvala's hand. 🤩 So awesome to stand among such historic machines and legendary people. Aspirations to beat Juha Kankunnen's 1986 time on Mason Lake. Parc Fermé. We made it to the finish. I thought we were going to DNF when I was late to a note early into the first stage of Saturday. About 1.5 miles into the first pass of Dayton, in a fast section: "flat left 30 flat right into short 5 right nips 3 left" I was late to calling the 3. Michael did his best to dodge stumps... 🌲💥😓💔 We sacrificed our front right control arm. Michael still put in some incredibly fast times!! Left turns were sketchy af without a control arm. A testament to Michael's ability as a driver! 👏🏻 "cool, calm, collected, clean" Some of you may have said hi to Alex and thought it was Michael lol. Always a good time when we have the twins together! Family and friends that came through also helped cook amazing warm food for us to eat at service!
