STORY TIME!! If you have been around from the beginning, you’ll know about my bitter experience with Instagram. This time last year, Instagram had wiped out five of my accounts in less than 5 months, including three personal ones. The first was a decade old with thousands of followers. Gone! This was a rude shock to me. I had everything on there which I was unable to recover till now, most especially my travel highlights 😭. The second disappeared just as I was finding my feet again on the platform. Then thr third was taken down. Then my cat’s account. Then another business page. Ahhhhhhh why me? What have I done?! It was exhausting. So, I quit because I couldn’t even keep going back and forth with it. I left Instagram and stayed off for almost two weeks. But something in me couldn’t just stay off Instagram. It’s like my safe place tbh, so I opened this; my fourth personal account. Deep down, I was scared that it might be taken down again but here we are. Now, it’s almost three weeks to a year since I started over, and honestly… I’m excited for the growth. The numbers might not be massive, but every follow, every conversation, every bit of growth means a lot to me. See, Instagram humbled me. It really did! And at the same time, it taught me one great lesson: IT IS OKAY TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. Here’s to growth, the amazing people here, and even greater things ahead. 🥂

Don’t be like me. Go for that scary adventure! Sometimes I want to go on really scary adventures just to feel that adrenaline rush, but negative thoughts won’t stop clouding my mind. Nobody wants to die, you know 😭 I just remembered how I once backed out of an adventure, and it still cracks me up. I left Johannesburg for Soweto just to go bungee jumping. This was on top of my list and I was sooo pumped and excited about it. But as I got closer to the location and I saw the towers, I was scared. The fear that gripped me that day was unexplainable. I didn’t even bother to get to the location itself. I just told the driver to take me somewhere else or take me back to Joburg. So may things came running through mind. -what if the rope snaps? -what if I faint mid jump? -what if I hit my head? Way too many what-ifs I didn’t even tell my family that I was going to do that. So how would they know if anything had happened. God abeg o. I’ll try again another time, and I hope I won’t get scared. Till then, I’ll try to avoid seeing videos of that activity 🤣🤣 #soweto #travel #southafrica #bungeejumping

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is Give to Gain, a reminder that when we give support, visibility, and opportunity, we all grow. Today, we celebrate women who lead, build, explore, and keep choosing new horizons. Here’s to giving women the space, support, and confidence to take up the world and gain more possibilities with every journey🤍🤎 Happy International Women’s Day #iwd #iwd2026 #ottotravels

My prayer for you as you step into this new week is in this audio. There is a kind of peace heaven gives that no noise on earth can take away. That is the peace I pray for you. Peace and love to you ❤️ • This is the famous graffiti wall in Cotonou, Benin, known as the longest graffiti wall in Africa. Stretching along the coastal road, the stretch of murals showcases local creativity, culture, and expression. Definitely add it to your must-see list when you visit Benin. You shouldn’t miss it. 5/52 This year, I chose consistency over perfection. I’ve been to church 5 out of 6 Sundays this year, and that’s a big deal for me after years of inconsistency. Sometimes, it’s not just a sermon that pulls you back. It’s watching someone else stay committed that reminds you what you once wanted too. God can use any way He pleases to bring one back to Him. If you’ve been struggling to return to what feeds your soul, this is your sign. Keep going. Building consistency one Sunday at a time. I’m proud of me for trying. Now to the big question. Did you go to church today?🙄 #happysunday #sundayfit #hotr

So I started the day by making ginger shot. One of my goals this year is to be more intentional about my health, boosting my already weak immunity, taking better care of my body, and building small healthy habits that actually stick. I had a conversation with a friend yesterday and she said she never jokes with her morning shot. I love that she’s been helpful in keeping me accountable on this fitness journey because honestly… I am my own problem 🤣 Short gist to show you that I’m truly my problem: I saw a home workout routine here about two weeks ago. It looked great. I was consistent for four days last week and then I stopped. Why? Because I didn’t see any results. In FOUR DAYS. Can you imagine? How was I expecting results in such a short time? 😭 I just want super quick results, and it doesn’t work that way. Shortcut is never a good thing, honestly. So I’m trying again. This time, I’ll give it a full month of consistency and see where that gets me. One day at a time, sha. Anyway, a good fitness journey starts from the inside and being conscious of what you eat. So ginger shots for a start. Amen, somebody 🤣🤣 Are you a ginger-shot person? How do you feel since you started taking it? Let me know in the comment section. #healthyliving #gingershot

This quote is definitely one of my favorite because it really hits me sometimes. Some days you’re moving really fast, other days you’re just taking it slowly, but both count as movement because are you not just in a place. One think I am learning this year is not to pressure myself to move at someone else’s speed. Life isn’t a race or competition. Go your own while I go mine. As long as I are not stuck or giving up, trust me I am pretty good. If you’ve been feeling like you’re behind, I hope this reminds you that you’re probably not behind. You are just moving at your own pace, and rhat is totally fine. Don’t give up o. Na who give up fvck up! #mondaymotivation #monday #dontgiveuponyourself

My friend took me to eat at the popular Mama Toyin’s abula joint and it was good! But tell me why that guy was serving icecream-scoop-size amala? Bro, why are you stingy with that thing? 😭 As for the audio, I hope those useless minions will catch their sub. They better sit back and expect Sango to visit them. They know themselves, both young and old 🤣 #lagosliving #amalaandewedu #foodgasm

You visit some countries just once and that’s it. But some countries leave you wanting more than just one visit. Of all the places I’ve been to, Lebanon, Ghana, Togo, and Benin are the ones I’ve experienced more than once, and I’ve did not regret it. But if I were given the chance to go back to just one country to really really soak it all in, and truly enjoy its beauty, that country would be Jordan. Initially, I had my own misconceptions (I mean, this is normal, right?), but one visit completely changed that. Jordan surprised me in the best way. Jordan is one of those places I definitely wouldn’t mind visiting over and over again. Is there a country you’d revisit without thinking twice? Where and why? Let me know in the comment section. #aqaba #jordan #almanara #travel

Proof that watching videos is not the same as doing it. Until you actually try something, never assume that it’s so so easy. You’ll be humbled! FUN FACT: I have always loved gvns right from a young age and always wanted to learn how to sho0t. I attended Command throughout my secondary school years so I was seeing soldiers everywhere. Naturally, I fell in love with the army and really wanted to go to NDA, mainly because I wanted easy access to gvns 😂 After my shooting experience, I now understand why God redirected me. It was either I’d be too good and brutal with my target or I wouldn’t be able to aim properly. This video is proof that I somehow managed to show both talents at the same time 😭😂 God knew this ahead. But deep down, I still want to learn. Can you sh00t or is it something you would love to learn? Let me know in the comment section.
