Please join us on Thursday April 9th from 7-9 PM for the :/>repair exhibition opening reception at Ulises. The affiliated Electronics Faire Exhibition features art from local and national artists engaging with the practice of repair. The exhibition theme follows the Electronics Faire founding principle that while the history of electronics is entangled with violence, manifold traditions of marginalized communities using electronics as a form of social relating, intimacy, and resistance continue to flourish. Following mending movements and care cultures, we called for works that engage with repair as a maintenance protocol, cultural practice, and queer and abolitionist methodology. Our definition of repair follows Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick’s analytic approach that
The desire of a reparative impulse… is additive and accretive. Its fear, a realistic one, is that the culture surrounding it is inadequate or inimical to its nurture; it wants to assemble and confer plenitude on an object that will then have resources to offer to an inchoate self.
Participating Artists: Cecilia McKinnon, Charlotte G Chin Greene, Chris Combs, Emilia Ezeta, Hannah Tardie, Ian Byers-Gamber, Jazmyn Crosby, Jocelyn Tsui, Jinha Song, kathy wu, Riley Cox, Ryan Scails, Woody Poulard, and Yafira Martinez

it’s impossible to say that my practice hasn’t been influenced by working alongside @wintercoatsmell for the past almost three years. Those who know soso knows that they never stop creating. They wake up 5am to draw for a few hours only to do the same before going to sleep, and honestly throughout the rest of the day if they can. They’re generous, funny, and boundlessly creative. They’ve pushed me to try new things (draw lol) and been a model for living a life where living and creating are intertwined. We’ve lived through many of life’s big moments together and it’s a real gift to be able to show work together—thank you @danasuleymanovaart for seeing that vision.
One of the first times we met Soso drew a picture of a performance I did at school where I went swimming inside of our crit spaces. It was refreshing to talk to someone who just seemed to …get it and take it as it was at face value.
This Thursday March 12 6-9pm at @automat_collective our show will have an opening! I’m really excited about both of our work in the show and am excited to share it with you all! If you can’t make the opening the gallery is open 12-5pm on Saturdays and by appointment (just let me know!) 🪿🐰🤹🏼♂️

CHOPPED/SLOPPED/SCREWED Virtual Artist Talk
Saturday, February 14, 2026 | 11:30 - 12:30 | Virtual Event | Register with Link in Bio
Join Zante Moore (@zante2222 ), Shori “Halie” Sims (@h4l13420 ), and Logan Crompton (@log3y ) for an artist talk about their current exhibition at Vox: CHOPPED/SLOPPED/SCREWED. BLACKnet artist collective’s exhibition, Chopped Slopped Screwed, is an immersive multi-channel video installation that samples and combines the imagined worlds of its members; Zante Moore, Shori “Halie” Sims, and Logan Crompton. As post internet and meme concerned artists the collective often finds themselves ideating on the many forms a post internet society may take, and what space Black people occupy within it. In a world where Black images are commodified in an attention driven economy what does it mean for artists to reclaim and superimpose themselves in both digital and irl spaces?
