Rosencrantz: Do you think Death could possibly be a boat?
Guildenstern: No, no, no… Death is “not.” Death isn’t. Take my meaning? Death is the ultimate negative. Not-being. You can’t not be on a boat.
Rosencrantz: I’ve frequently not been on boats.
Guildenstern: No, no… What you’ve been is not on boats.

I have thousands of memory’s of that day, that time. For some reason the one I can’t shake today is from the memorial wall at the arch at Washington square. A few nights after 9/11 I was standing there with a few friends, one of whom was a first responder. I was writing something to hang up and he was crying and we noticed someone photographing us, a journalist I guess and they tried to ask us questions and he just lost it yelled at them to get the fuck away. It seemed so indecent...our grief felt so private. Take care of yourselves today everybody... I love you, all of you.
