Daughter of the soil,
For I come from the root,
Rooted in my identity,
An identity held by the ancestors,
Ancestors who walked before me,
Whose footprints cleared the path,
A path that made my journey lighter,
A journey I still travel,
Traveling until my time fades,
Fades into becoming an ancestor,
An ancestor close to those I leave behind,
Those I leave to follow the footsteps,
Footsteps that become generational,
A generational memory that endures,
Endures through time,
Through time into eternity.
