Still in awe and gratitude!🤍
To everyone who came out in the blizzard to see The Fifth Paragraph, THANK YOU. Truly. Traveling through snow and the announced severe blizzard to fill the house at The Tank Theater made this performance unforgettable!
I’m still processing. Your presence, your listening, your laughter, your tears, that is what makes live theater sacred. For the people who already saw it, thank you for returning, you know I literally can’t do it without you. For those who saw it for the first time, I’m so grateful you experienced it with us. For those who couldn’t make it, thank you for your supportive and kind words and I hope to do it again just for you!
I’m sharing a few highlights from the show here, some small moments that were so special. I hope they bring you into the room with us.
Deep gratitude to the extraordinary collaborators: Abraham Gomez-Delgado — Guitar, Voice, Percussion and the Co-creator of the Fifth Paragraph! Justin Carroll — Piano and Accordion Isaiah Richardson — Surprise magic Clarinet
And heartfelt thanks to COJECO’s Arts Against Antisemitism Initiative, with PATH funding through the Mayor’s Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, for supporting this work. And huge thank you to The Tank for helping bring it to life.
For those who watched via livestream, thank you for joining us from wherever you were. Your messages meant so much.
This piece tells the story of immigrating from Soviet Ukraine to the U.S. just before the collapse of the Soviet Union, through the eyes of my 10-year-old self. Sharing it with you, especially on a day when the city became covered in snow, felt poetic, magical and beyond anything I could have ever imagined or wrote into this show.
Full of gratitude to all of you!
With LOVE Olia and the Fifth Paragraph Team🤍

The Fifth Paragraph is a multimedia performance that blends story-telling, video art, and live music. It tells the story of immigrating from Soviet Ukraine to the U.S., right before the collapse of the Soviet Union. It is told through the eyes of my 10-year-old self.
I am deeply grateful to present this work with the support of a grant from the COJECO Arts Against Antisemitism Initiative. It is made possible with PATH funding through the Mayor’s Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. And grateful to be presenting this work with the help of The Tank Theater!
