Today is the day! My second book - Field Notes, is out in the world 🎉 To say that I am excited is the biggest understatement of my knitting pattern designer career. The feeling I have today can’t be put into words. Since the time when @laine_magazine published their first books, a quiet yet certain dream was born in my heart. ✨ Olga’s Jacket ✨ I can’t say enough good things about this design - it is the perfect process and product knit! It has been an engaging knit throughout the entire process, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Olga Putano @olgaputanodesigns outdid herself with this artistic masterpiece. I consider myself very lucky to have been included in the testing process and can’t wait to start enjoying my new jacket. For now though, it will be taking a quick bath before I add on my cuffs and hem. Purl Soho’s Good Wool worked well for this project and there were so many colors to choose from. I can’t wait to see what other colors knitters put together for this- for me, I think my next one will be a mini version for my daughter. How cute would mommy and me matching jackets be?
