Happy 40 Years to the Old Towne Preservation Association 🍊🎬 @orangeotpa
For four decades, OTPA has helped protect, preserve, and celebrate the character of Old Towne Orange.
The Circle, the historic buildings, the small businesses, the events, the sense of community — none of it stays alive by accident. It survives because people continue to show up.
That spirit is exactly what The Old Towne Orange Movie is about.
We’re honored to continue the celebration of OTPA’s 40th Anniversary with the premiere screening of the film:

For more than 20 years, Mike Escobedo and the Orange Plaza Review have helped tell the story of Old Towne Orange.
Before social media, before algorithms, before “content” — there was a local paper that simply showed up for the community.
Every edition became a reflection of Old Towne itself:
The restaurants.
The businesses.
The events.
The people.
People don’t just read the Orange Plaza Review — they look for themselves in it. Because it reminds this town that what happens here matters.
That’s what The Old Towne Orange Movie is about too.
A community that kept moving forward… because people showed up.

For Justin Ladd, @historichomesoc Old Towne Orange is more than historic homes and beautiful design — it’s a city built around connection.
From the very beginning, the Plaza was designed as a gathering place. A circle where generations, stories, and different kinds of people continue to cross paths.
That’s what makes Old Towne special.
People keep showing up.
These are the stories at the heart of The Old Towne Orange Movie.
