Many have asked, “Why is the ramp project so costly?” Creating an ADA-accessible entrance for the Mission means more than just adding a ramp — it requires careful design to ensure the top platform aligns perfectly with the Mission’s historic doors. Our goal is to build something that belongs — honoring the Mission’s original design while ensuring accessibility for all. This project is made possible entirely through private donations from generous community members across the 805 and beyond.

After years of hope and planning, a new ADA-compliant ramp is coming to the Mission church — designed with great care to feel like a natural extension of the original architecture. It will even use stone from the same quarry as the church’s iconic façade!
Construction begins Monday, August 4! Thanks to generous support, we've already raised over half of the funds needed. Now we're asking our community to help us reach the finish line.
Let’s make sure everyone can enter this beloved place with dignity and ease.

Restoring pieces of Santa Barbara history.
We recently had the honor of restoring the historic light fixtures at the Santa Barbara Mission— bringing new life to each fixture while preserving the timeless character that has long been part of the missions architecture.
Each fixture was carefully refinished, reworked, repainted, and restored with new glass inspired by the original vintage style. The result feels renewed, while still honoring the beauty and history that have always been there.
For our founder, whose family heritage is deeply rooted in Santa Barbara, this was an especially meaningful project and one we were incredibly proud to have been a part of.

Wow wow wow! We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed both our fundraising goal and the construction of our ADA ramp! This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and support of our donors, friends, and the greater Santa Barbara Mission community.
Collectively, we happen to be alive to witness and enjoy the first architectural addition to the front of the Santa Barbara Mission church since its original construction 🤯
