No practice round, no problem! 😅
England Girls’ star Lauren Crump came straight from AIG Women’s Open Final Qualifying at Pyle & Kenfig on Monday, to shoot the joint best score (-6) in round one of the English Girls’ Under 16 Championship at Old Fold Manor Golf Club on Tuesday.
Despite only having time to play eight holes in her practice round after arriving in North London late yesterday afternoon, Crump fired two eagles and three birdies to put herself in a share of top spot with a score of 68 (-6) alongside Germany’s Luisa Kristin Hartmann.
Meanwhile, Sand Moor’s Mila Dodds leads the Under 14 Championship after an impressive first round of 69 (-5) that featured five birdies on the front-nine to help her charge two shots clear of the pack.
