We can't quite believe that we launched D4P two years ago on Friday. Naively/hopefully, we thought it would be a short-term response to something incomprehensibly evil, that the world would surely rise up against and imminently end. We're beyond heartbroken that the 12 families we've grown to love as our own, need our support as much now as back then. More than two and a half years on, they've had no real relief, other than what we collectively help to provide. The cease🔥 is a lie, and the situation is truly beyond catastrophic for every living soul in G♡z♡. While the legacy media headlines and world have largely moved on, we refuse to do the same. It's our collective duty to care and to take action. Raising life-sustaining funds has become incredibly hard this year, so please keep up your steadfast support. We really can't do this without you. Together, we raised more than £75,500 in two years. It's not only made a massive material difference to our families, it's also given them the priceless gift of hope and humanity. "This week has been very difficult. I was very sick with a severe chest infection and flu and could barely get out of bed for several days. But as a single mother I still have to keep going for my son. We are still living in a tent, 9 people together, and every day I try to secure food, water, and medicine for my child and my family. My son’s health is very important to me and I am doing everything I can to take care of him.Yes of course. Mohanad is trying his best to keep studying and working when he can, but the situation here makes everything very difficult and unstable. Sometimes there is no electricity, internet, or quiet place to focus, so it takes a lot of effort for him to continue. As for Karam, he still gets sick from time to time because of the difficult conditions in the tent and the changing weather. As a mother, I am always worried about his health and try to take care of him as much as I can. We keep going and doing our best every day. What gives me strength is the support from people who care and follow our story. Your help is what allows us to survive these difficult days. We are still trying to reach our goal so I can provide food, clean water, and medical care for my son and family. Every donation, share, and kind message truly helps us more than you can imagine.
