@old86bar turns 3 years old today. It is a continuing design project that I will be most proud of for the rest of my life, however long that is. They say live the life you dreamt of when you were a child and apparently when I was a child I wanted to own a bar that looked like the one the Terminator came looking for Sarah Connor in. But I also dreamt of getting to do cool shit with my friends, and boy did both of those things come true. Big thanks to @filetoafish@low_rezz_skyline@simrosss@jeffreysiefer@sean2outerspace and the @buildings.food team for making this a possibility.
Somewhere amongst the thunder and lightning that happens within these walls 7 nites a week, I’ve learned a lot about how to run a business, market it and work with others. (I did not learn yet how to stay away from turning our sound system into my own impromptu private karaoke session from time to time)
And most importantly, thank you if you’ve ever stopped in for one. You should do it again starting tomorrow. We’re doing karaoke and have some wild parties lined up for our anniversary weekend all the way through Sunday nite.
