February was something.
Mentally, things weren’t great, but somewhere in the middle of it, I found myself creating because I wanted to. No pressure or thought—most times, it just came. It felt like something finally clicked in my head. I think I just needed an outlet, but that realization in itself felt great.
Art is truly my expression and I need to remember that more often. I only really feel like I exist when I’m immersed in it.

went to John Randle center for Yoruba Culture and History with my baes and damn🥹it’s such an amazing experience, there was so much to learnn! also my yoruba needs to get better soon.

first piece of the year and i’m so excited for what’s to come.
I’ll be exploring touch as a means of communication and as a love language (also a means of communication🤭) inspired by my interest in sign language and my wonderful babies🥹.
