I made my first skirtcatcher January of this year, and I’ve made 6 so far, no pattern up until this one.
I love this thing, it’s marked every bit of improvement in my sewing journey, and it’s only just the beginning😁

Like an eternal flame, predestined to ignite. Capricious yet unwavering, the wonder burns through me, kept alive by my own breath.
Though I’ve done it before, everything still feels new, wonder taking different shapes within the same vessel: partaking in passion like a glutton, and making a mess while doing it.
I’ll keep jumping on the bed, too, and allowing outside clothes on my inside sheets so my friends have a place to sit. I would rather feed my fire with inconvenient spontaneity than worry about sleeping in a perfectly made bed.
