Japanese fried sandwiches (age-sando) at home!! 揚げサンド
You can fill these with anything you like but I went with @age.3_ginza most popular:
tamago sando (egg salad) — adding a little bit of whip cream gives you that light, creamy and fluffy texture
creme brulee
whip cream fruit sando
keema curry & cheese
I also tested these in the air fryer and without deep frying, they’re just as good without having to deep fry.

usually not a huge fan of butter mochi bc of the denseness but the crispiness of this version lured me in— I adjusted my recipe a few times for my ideal texture. It has a higher ratio of eggs so it bakes up lighter and custardy but still has that chewy soft texture inside. It kind of reminds me of a canelé with its crispy crunchy exterior 😋

Playing around with neapolitan pizzas at home and end up with leftovers or overproofed pizza dough so (happily) eating a lot of sandwiches lately 😋 it’s so good and easy to make— I think it’s become my go-to bread for sandwiches~
Unforch I don’t have any pizza making equipment yet so I just use a small counter oven, a pan, blowtorch and an old wooden board but they still turn out crusty and crispy yet soft, light and chewy. I can only imagine how good they’d be if you have a pizza oven tho 🥹
