The Tin Pan South songwriting festival ( @tinpansouth ) is a week long festival in nashville where artists and songwriters play the songs they wrote and tell the stories about their creation.
Itās one of my favorite weeks of the year the and the most nashville of the nashville moments.

Christmas Quit Bringing Me Down
Audra and I first met back in October after I went to the songwriter round put on by @thesoundupclub . I was honestly so pumped just to be in the room hearing from @vothmusic , @nataliebrianna56 , and Audra. After the show we connected here on Instagram and later met for coffee and talked songwriting. I already loved her songs, but getting to hear her stories and learn about how she writes made me an even bigger fan.
Sheās an incredible person and an unbelievable writer, and Iām thankful to have found a new friend. It was a treat to for me to make this song with her!
When we wrote this we both loved it so much that we rushed out an acoustic version right away. Huge thanks to @jesseperdue1 at @woolrecordingstudio for making it happen.
