Inspired by the elegance of a checker board,,You see a CHECKER BOARD,I see reflection of life and a MASTERPIECE ✨✨.when it came to create my final project,I didn't just want to create another fancy dress,I wanted to tell a story,i chose the checkerboard because it reflects life and creativity,the ups and downs, the wins and loses,and the courage to move forward step by step
This dress didn’t come easy. It’s the result of months of showing up, pushing through even when it got overwhelming, and choosing growth every single time.
4 months of learning, unlearning, stressing, stitching, and trusting the process ,and through it all I pulled off a masterpiece that made every seconds worth it
every single triangle on this piece was made with tulle net and hand tacked one by one from scratch to finish, it took hours,sleepless nights,and injured fingers, but with each piece I reminded myself that fashion is intentional,just like in the checkerboard game,every move,every cut, every stitch has to be deliberate, you can't rush the process, this dress is a reminder that with consistency, patience, strategy the end results becomes unbeatable
In both checkers, fashion and real life, the real winners are those who strategize, stay consistent and never stop evolving
This isn't just a design it's a proof, that if you stay consistent, you will shine eventually
