Another cushion to show you. This one is called “Pop!”.
More nice details, which for me are the whole point of making pictures - a man drinking red wine and reading a book, someone feeding cheese to their pet rat, someone’s bubble popping… the man with the yellow shirt with blue hoops - I have a shirt like that, I had it made in Sierra Leone out of the wax prints you get there that I think are printed in the Netherlands. There’s a butterfly in a bubble too.
I made this design a little while ago. I had two cushions made but sold the first one earlier in the year.
I’m trying to sell my last ten cushions, which are sitting on the shelves in my studio. They are all one-offs. This one has a couple of fabric imperfections so I’ve taken fifteen pounds(more actually) from the price. It’s £65 before postage.

This is my We Are Giants cushion. I’ve sold one and this is the other.
There are many beautiful floral designs in the fabric world. I don’t get why people don’t add more little details among the flowers that tell a story or add another layer. Mine has miniature people. I like to imagine being tiny among the leaves and flowers.

The cushions are 43x43cm and made from a cotton linen blend with special piping. It’s special because I designed it. It’s just a nice cushion with lots of character.

Hello. I designed these teatowel sets for Kit Kemp based on some designs and paintings I’d already made. The dancers were commissioned by Kit for her Ham Yard Hotel some years ago. The teatowels are a high quality linen and available at Shop Kit Kemp. I have organic cotton versions in my own shop that are slightly different.

Hello. Queue for the Zoo was the first fabric I designed for Liberty and has been one of their bestsellers over the years.
It was released in several colourways and was voted as one of the designs for the Liberty loyalty card. If you google ‘Queue for the Zoo’ you’ll see lots of different ways it has been used, on everything from bikes to swimming costumes. It was rereleased as a ‘contemporary classic’ some years ago which I think means it is on a continual reprint but am not completely sure.
In 2023 Liberty asked me to do a new Queue to celebrate ten years of the fabric being in print and popular. This one has endangered and extinct animals, in case anyone’s forgotten that we’re chopping down all the trees and killing everything and should stop. The new Queue was supposed to be called Queue 2 but thanks to a typo released as Quey 2.
Both fabrics were made with a drawing tablet and each animal was between A3 and A4 sized. Normally I hand paint everything and do very little digital stuff, which is why these patterns look different from the other patterns I’ve made.
