A study in repetition and restraint. Perforated steel folded into volume, where structure becomes surface and surface dissolves into pattern. The form steps, shifts, and offsets, more accumulation than composition, catching light, shadow, and whatever moves around it.
Solid, but never quite fixed.

The Diverge Stool is constructed from two folded aluminium sheet, hydro-blasted and sealed. Its reductive form is driven by a simple construction method: direct, industrial, and materially honest.

SPECTRUM (wall hanging)
800 x 1800 x 6mm
Mosaic wall work in anodised aluminium.
A tightly controlled system of repeated triangular modules, each panel individually anodised to hold colour within the material rather than on the surface. The gradient isn’t printed—it’s constructed, piece by piece.
Cornish uses a rigid geometric language to test how far a surface can shift: from object to image, from something fixed to something that changes with light and viewpoint.
Material-led. Precise. Quietly complex.

Adam Cornish makes work that feels suspiciously resolved for someone who, at heart, is still just messing around with how things go together.
His practice moves between industry and instinct, production lines on one hand, gut feeling on the other, testing how far you can push a material before it tells you to stop. Or doesn’t.
There’s a seriousness to it, sure. Years of refinement, precision, all the right words. But underneath that it’s still a kind of play. Pulling things apart. Putting them back together slightly wrong. Seeing what holds.
We like that.
Because really, none of this is that fixed. It’s just people, friends, (mostly) trying to make something land.
We’re very excited to present these new concepts by Adam as our Melbourne Design Week offering for 2026

Adam Cornish has long worked with precision. Objects resolved through process, material, and control.
Domestic Experiments shifts that position toward a more sculptural, experimental approach to his practice.
Forms are tested rather than resolved. Materials are pushed, not simply refined. Familiar typologies begin to loosen, somewhere between object, study, and proposition.
The rigour remains, but it’s being applied differently: less about perfect outcomes, more about what happens in the process of making.
We are very proud to present

Three works by Ami Morris, made prior to The Night Garden.
They belong to an earlier moment in Ami’s practice, but carry the same slow language of accumulation and erasure, surfaces worked over time, built up, broken down, and left holding their own history.
