Experimenting with new ways to make prints. This is a contact print with no development. I stacked two negatives an a single-speed freewheel directly on a sheet of ortho-litho film and left it outside in indirect light for ~10 minutes. This gets an positive image to burn into the film with no chemicals needed. I then dropped it in fixer for 30 seconds and rinsed with water. Could be an easy way to make 4x5 prints without a darkroom.

Happy accidents. I thought this picture didn’t come out. Turns out I double loaded the film. Next time I used the tank, this came out stuck to another photo. Some of the halation layer from the other sheet stuck to this one and gave it a nice little frame.

Blizzard in Times Square shot on a 70 year old 4x5 press camera. Funny to think something as big as a that was once a standard for street photography. Met some cool people and watched a lot of other people fall down. I estimated all the exposures instead of using a light meter and then pushed two stops in development which worked surprisingly well!
Learning more about shooting and developing in large format with the Graflex Crown Graphic. Small enough for the whole kit to fit in a backpack and fast enough that for the most part my friends don’t get too annoyed waiting for me to get the shot.

First shots on the new 4x5 and also first I’ve developed myself. The one of @theshane.club was a 30 second exposure, props to their modeling! These were shot on ortho litho film with an iso of 3(!) so I’m pretty happy with how well they came out after scanning.

6x8 medium format on my Fuji GX680ii with a 300w strobe. Pretty happy I was able to nail the focus on both of us in one go.
