With heavy hearts Ohm Krew would like to share the life and loss of our family friend Master Marsh. He has been the beating heart of the Ohmkar since the first build in 2014. Jack of all trades, master of many. Fabricator, welder, mechanic, electrical, hauler and great guy. We all learned so much from him over the years on and off the playa. On playa, he was a true legend at bringing anything back to life. He did everything for his family and was a tireless worker, no complaints only effort. “Can do” “Can be” “no problem” “very easy” and “Power!!!” Are his words that we will carry forward as battle cries when we need a boost or when the shit hits the fan. Burning Man isn’t a vacation — it’s dust storms, sweat, tears, and laughter. It’s late nights that turn into pink sunrises. It’s building, breaking down, and rebuilding again. It’s strangers becoming family, and chaos teaching us some of life’s hardest truths.
Somehow, in the middle of all the madness, it becomes a beautiful reminder of what it really means to be alive.

Let’s get the gnar out of the way. This is a compilation of klips from the ohmies. First video is Saturday evening tower check to see if the dmv registration trip was a go. It wasn’t. The first storm hit about 30 minutes after that video. The rest is a sample of the rinse repeat of cleaning, tearing down, repairing and putting back up. Every evening till Tuesday something special rolled in and smacked us again. The infamous micro climate bubble was popped relentlessly. Fantastic job by the whole camp to keep things rolling and spirits high. Tons of effort of full display daily 💪🏾💪🏾. When the clouds finally cleared, we had a dust free, magic rest of the burn and smooth tear down. Well we’re a special bunch us “burners”, masochists, yes. Not your average joes for sure. We had Wednesday to Saturday perfect camp and kar build weather then Saturday evening rolled in. We usually register the Kar this evening but as the sun started to go down it looked bleak on the horizon. No DMV mission, a look from the camp tower saw 6:00 area being swallowed. What happened next was an all hands on deck moment and a true test of our camp set up. You are only as strong as your krew out there. We had a banger group this year and boy was it needed. Our only loss was a tarp, but in the windiest moment a yurt from another camp came to visit Ohm Home. It detonated itself on our U-Haul and spread through camp and up I street in the 9:45 area. Foam, everywhere. We grabbed what we could in the storm and secured it in an empty trailer. This was Saturday before the burn event opened. Our krew was on point, it made all the difference. The next few days of storms was intense. The rinse repeat of break down, set back up, repair, was exhausting mentally and physically. The ohmies handled it all with smiles and positive vibes. Thank you brothers and sisters for your incredible energy and efforts. Without you Ohm Kar is lost in the dust. Forever grateful. In the end, it was as magnificent as ever maybe even the best. Our only real complaint was the compacted schedule in the end. Huge love to the krew, the ohm home fam, vibe apple homies and feral krew.
