Director @LydiaMihalik toured St. Vincent Family Services, which received funding from Development's Ohio Energy Efficiency Program, Advanced Energy Fund, and the Energy Efficiency Program for Ohio Communities to make improvements to their campus in Columbus. In total, these improvements have had major impact on the campus, and will save the facility nearly 23% in annual utility costs and allowing them to reinvest the funds into provided services!
As the Mayors Delegation concluded its time in Ohio, a clear pattern had emerged. Growth here is designed, coordinated and delivered in partnership.
At @ohiodevelopment Director Lydia Mihalik set out a statewide strategy centred on advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defence, workforce and broadband. A model built on alignment between state leadership and local delivery.
Engagements with @JobsOhio turned to international investment, sector depth and long term competitiveness.

In Marietta, Director @lydiamihalik joined the Ohio River Commission for its first meeting with new Executive Director Taylor Abbott. The commission was created to advance economic development, marine cargo operations, and tourism along the Ohio River.

Established in 2016, Freweini Alemayoh’s family-owned restaurant Flavor 91 Bistro located in Whitehall sources food from local Ohio farms and provides healthy, freshly cooked meal options to customers in the Columbus metro area. The restaurant was approved for a Women's Business Enterprise loan for leasehold improvements, and it is expected to help with job creation.

After 19 years in the U.S. Air Force and 5 years in U.S. Space Force, retired veteran Levi Duncan turned to Ohio SBDC at Springfield, his local #OhioSBDC, to assist him in growing Anvian Holdings, a diverse portfolio of operating companies across the service, real estate, and technology sectors.
