The translucent food theme continued, but this time we included ‘round shape’ as an extra element.
And that’s a wrap of our first popup about “a feast of translucent food”. The menu we curated for the popup consists of 10 dishes. A wide range of textures and colours of translucent food were showcased. Thank you @otheroof_sz for giving us the opportunity to share our creation and thank you everyone who came to the event!

“A feast of translucent food”, our first popup dinner event is finally happening! In this event, we will be taking a close look into the transparency visual of food.
The captivating aesthetic of semi-translucent foods, with their vibrant hues and hazy visual quality, never fails to draw our attention. This unique characteristic invites curiosity about their texture and flavor—ranging from tender and glutinous to crisp and refreshing, or from delicately mild to intensely stimulating.
It is our hope that this menu not only delights the palate but also inspires you to reflect on the diverse and elegant world of translucent ingredients in culinary artistry.

Recent favourite purchase from @daiso_official@daiso_hongkong is this star shaped rice cake. The shape makes the experience of eating more playful and enjoyable.
In this recipe, I added miso, soy paste, sausage, broccoli and carrots.
