Hellooooo there! My name is Sandy! (Have you noticed that my name is hidden within "ofstickSANDYarn"??)
I've been on this space for almost 2 years and thought I'd share a bit about myself!
✨ I started crocheting 14 years ago! Right around the time my husband and I started dating. I taught myself through online tutorials and YouTube videos after discovering amigurumi.
✨ I am a mom to 2 little girls who are both my husband's minis.
✨ I am all about yarn 🧶, sushi 🍣, and bubble tea 🧋.
✨ In high school, I was part of a group project where we re-created the music video to I'm Not Okay by My Chemical Romance.
✨ My favourite place I've traveled to was Iceland and I can't wait to go back.
✨ I'm not sure if it's doubled jointed but I can pop both my thumbs out of their...sockets??
✨ I hate being cold 🥶.
✨ My birthday is on April Fools Day 🤪.

a lot of you have asked about the yarns i used to make midnight owl as shown in this post (and on the front cover of my pattern), so here is a list!
- body: big twist plush in the colour varg pastel
- head: bernat blanket in the colour vintage white
- feet: bernat blanket o'go in the bundle called flash, using the bright pink
- wings: bernat blanket sparkle in the colour barely green
- beak: bernat blanket in the colour gold
- party tassels: all bernat blanket in colours light teal, sunsoaked and o'go flash's bright pink

I drew these myself and had them made into acrylic keychains!
My keys are going to have an upgrade!
This big boi is uniting with his princess! 👑
This project started in April 2023. It took a while to crochet all the pieces.
Then came the daunting part... sewing everything together!!
So he sat in pieces for a few months before I took on the task of sewing all the parts together.
And in December of 2023, I was sooo proud of how everything came together!!
Thanks to everyone who were so amazed with him and everyone who got to see him in person - I always felt lifted up when I received a compliment on him 🤩🤩
And a huge thank you to my sweet buyer! I know he is going to a good home. Thank you sooo so much for your appreciation of my work 🥹🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻

✨ The June Cardi 🧶
A new wearable that I'm so excited to wear!
This is the first piece that I actually blocked - technically I steamed it and it made such a difference in the flowiness of the fabric!!
I really love how this turned out!
I do need to shorten the sleeves cuz it got a little too long when the fibers relaxed.
