It is with utmost pleasure that we announce our Spring Summer Issue 26: Adolescence. Adolescence is a journey through growth: through depicting growth in phases, beginning with rebirth “Skins” to personal development “Between Four Walls”, embarking onto physical growth through reminiscing nature’s patterns “Coalescence”, allowing us to seek constant medium in growing while creating through history “Reiteration”, finally reaching consciousness in a society that is built on a capitalist structure “Synthetic age”, Adolescence encapsulates what it is like to blossom through winds of change, while experiencing versions of growth simultaneously, allowing one to understand that the physical body, the mind, and the consciousness are all embedded into the process of becoming oneself. Through our issue, we explore branches of the Monochrome, a society where the individual and collective interact. Coalescence reflects the quiet unfolding of adolescence, tracing how the rhythms of nature echo within the human body through physical growth. Growth is phrased as a series of subtle convergences that are reflected in moments in which the self gathers, reshapes, and becomes. Coalescence reflects stages and  at its core, an exploration of emergence. Where the journey to find oneself employs  movement closer to the natural patterns from which we come. Reiteration comprises a renaissance series that examines humanity’s enduring tendency to draw inspiration from the past. Through considering antiquity as a living visual language in which beauty becomes one Each image references classical portraiture, myth, and early fashion forms; however, these references are not treated as replicas. Bodies, garments, and poses echo earlier eras while remaining unmistakably contemporary, therefore emphasizing repetition as an act of transformation rather than imitation, and history as both a guide and a mystery. Reiteration embraces the tension between nostalgia and reinvention through asking humans to look backward in order to move forward, through repetition. BETWEEN FOUR WALLS 🟨⚡️🖤 📸explores the paradox of growth within confinement through focusing on the quiet, often invisible evolution that takes place inside spaces that surpass us. Each image situates its subject within literal or symbolic enclosures such as boxes, rooms, or frames; however, restriction becomes both an obstacle and a catalyst. Bodies press, contort, and expand against their limits; therefore, beauty, play, and tenderness emerge as the internal self grows too large for its external shell, as portrayed through the minimalist surrealist experimental imagery. With  containment emerges the imagination that blossoms within limitation, asking what it means to evolve in stillness and how one can outgrow a space through adolescence.
