Ryan Cecil Smith is a cartoonist based in Los Angeles and Osaka who makes science fiction comics and zines about the beauty of the world around him. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Printmaking and Book Arts. He lives with his wife and child. His illustrations have appeared in Popeye and Ginza magazines in Japan. He also works as a designer for animation studios.

Sming Sming Books is the publishing studio of artist Vivian Sming, experimenting with books as art, discourse, exhibition, and archive. Formed in 2017, the studio designs and publishes a wide range of artists’ books, zines, and editions in close collaboration with artists whose works and ideas inform design, material, and printing choices.

JW & Melissa Buchanan are The Little Friends of Printmaking, a California-based pair of award-winning illustrators and designers with more than 20 years of experience working together. They are makers of bright and cheerful handmade silkscreen prints with over 100,000 sold. Their work has been published in dozens of books including “New Masters of Poster Design,” “A Survey of Contemporary Printmaking,” and their monograph “The Little Friends of Printmaking: Silkscreen is Easy.” In addition to their work as illustrators and designers, they continue their fine art pursuits through exhibitions, lectures and artist residencies worldwide.

Hey, I’m Nat (they/them) an LA-based Illustrator and Risographer. I first fell in love with Riso printing working at zine fests and print fairs and printing my own work. Through its vibrancy and quirky misregistration, I learned to honor imperfections and the endless possibilities of color. I find inspiration for my illustration work in flora, fauna, food, positivity, and the power of cuteness.

Owen Jenkins was born and lives in Northern California. He makes zines, prints and drawings depicting hidden worlds and epiphanic visions. He is interested in: cryptic messages; the private utopia of intimacy; rain-soaked ruins; and half-remembered dreams of vast, grassy plains.
Owen’s work has been written about in The Current, published in Spectrum and shown in the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara as well as in public. He graduated UCSB’s College of Creative Studies in 2024 with degrees in studio art and art history.
